If you are talking about the power cable...a cable is a cable generally speaking. The differences you see in a good quality one vs a cheaper one will be the jacket around wire and the strands of individual wire...both will mostly effect the ease of installation.

However, the size of the cable can make a big difference if you are using one that is too small for you power application. What amp and what size wire are you running?
