Well he just bought a 06 infinity g35 coupe - 6-speed manual transmission,
3.5L dohc, 24 valve V6, 298 horsepower at 6,400 RPM, weighs 3449 lbs, with monster 18 inch wheels and great tires.

What can I do to my car to beat him? I know i need new tires but what else? He drives like an old lady and I drive like richard petty - so he can't take full advantage of the 6 speed, but that will only take me so far. Of course my teg is front wheel drive and his g35 is rear wheel drive. Can i make my car faster than his without spending 10 grand or putting nitrous in it?

Its a matter of pride.
