As far as I know on integras that is false. I may be wrong because the new accords when running higher octane will advance the spark, providing better performance. But I do not think integras do this, therefore you are wasting money. Stick to what your owners manual says, unless you have some pinging and knocking then premium would eliminate the issue.

As of right now your actually hurting performance because higher octane gas have less BTU's per gallon then lower octane gases.
