If you have GC's already (and you're not hellbent on buying full threaded coilovers (a huge waste in my opinion if the car will never see a track), you may just want to upgrade to a more agressive shock. I would highly recommend KYB AGX's for the value and quality. I've had Koni Sport Adjustable for most of my cars, and IMO are waaay too fuckin stiff. Even on the softest setting they're pretty stiff. KYB AGX's are 8 way adjustable for compression as well. For value and quality, KYB AGX.

If you are hell bent on a full coilover, Tein Basic's would be sufficient. Tein SS's are adjustable for height and compression, but since you want a good ride, there's probably no need to make it stiffer
