Yeah, I was planning on changing the tranny fluid pretty frequently. Like I said, I don't think the engine was warmed up all the way. I got confused, because I thought vtec won't even come on unless the engine is at operating temp., and it came on, but then rev limited me. It doesn't do it anymore, now that I make sure I'm at normal temp. before revving high.
Yea the only reason it revved to like 6500 is because it wasnt warmed up. your ecu was only protecting the engine. It will be fine, mine does the same thing.
