Just started about 3-4 days ago, if you ever heard a train going over the tracks up close... that screeching metal on metal sound is what my car sounds like.

Doesn't seem to make a difference if I'm braking or not, turning doesn't seem to make it better or worse. I can't tell if it's coming from the front or the back or just one side, its so loud. The only thing that make it diffrent is moving forward, hmmm I didn't check if it does it in reverse or not... I'll check that. But when the car stops, it stops, when the car goes, it goes. It does it at highway speeds, or at 10mph and everything in between.

The first thing I thought it was... my CV Joints. I recently (within 2 months) had them replaced with new ones. They do have a lifetime warranty, so if that is the case it shouldn't be a problem to get fixed. I looked under the car quick when I got out yesterday, didn't see anything hanging or out of place. :dunno:

Any ideas? Can CV Joints sound like that or would it be more with the brakes?
