A decent MTX/Infinity/Pioneer/Sony/Kicker/Boston Acoustics/Alpine/Polk 12" with 300-500watts is way more bass than most people will ever need in their car. Period.

Unless you are going to competitions... oh wait, if you are even thinking about doing any SPL comps... take a class.
