Friend of mine just had some, they can use something like an ultra sound that basically vibrates them into dust and are then passed easier. But, from what he said, they still have to go in to get the sound device right next to the stones.

That and they only do that if they are a certian size and really bad, so bad that they pretty much can't be pushed through.
