after i left kevins, i took that road to the interstate that leads to colyell, saw some lights on the side of the road (tail lights) so i got over a bit, saw some people walking and a guy with a flashlight so i slowed down to see if they needed help and put the piece on my lap.

he walked up to the car, i couldn't see him yet so i had my hand on my gun on my leg and he said "you don't need that, son" and i looked up and it was a cop.

he was really nice though, asked how old i was and told him 23 then showed him my ID for proof, told him i was headed home from a friend's house and pt the gun on my lap because he wasn't in uniform so i couldn't tell he was a cop. (he had khakis and a sherrif's office polo shirt). he just said keep it by my seat because i should have plenty time to pull it if i need to.
