And we get into conversation about hondas n stuff... well one of my bosses that is an all-american-muscle car kinda guy was actually pretty cool about saying he actually thinks hondas can be fast and that i wasnt wasting my time. Telling me to go all out and sleeve my engine and get pistons n what not to ensure that my engine would stand high boost and get me to a respectable hp rating. Which i thought was cool of him to say, but like i said hes an muscle car type of guy that knows that his old 70 something, 400hp, strickly for crusing truck would walk all over me at any time on any day. So i go over to my other boss, the one that loves the exotics and we start talking about racing (yea, illegal racing with my boss!) and the f--ker tells me hes running 200 shot of wet nitrous on top of having a 600hp engine! I mean, come on there is just no way no how i would win in my 2000 accord, no matter what i did to my car. It almost made me feel like, "why am i even bothering to turbo my car, when there are cars like this-- shit even cars that are 260hp stock out there". So my mission in life from this day forward is to beat this guy. So, i was thinking about buying a new manifold, throwing in a h22, sleeve the f--ker and boost to maybe 25psi and get a nitrous kit, and do my damn best to beat him. Im sure he would make a friendly wager on it--maybe a weeks worth of salary for the winner? I dont know, only thing i do know is i want to beat him for bragging rights and im not sure if it would ever happen in a honda.
Btw, his car is a 1974 or 79 pantera with some american motor. I must admit his shit looked clean tho.
Damn, where the heck have you been. Havent seen you postin in a long time.
I heard installing an H22 in our 6th gen accords is a pain in the ass.
pain in the ass = spend more money.
you should ask him this to see if he is serious about it.
If he is running 200 shot of NOS, his torque numbers should be ridiculously higher than his HP. see if he knows what those numbers are. Domestic cars react different to NOS than imports.
