Default D16z & D16v head differences
Are there only two of us that have D16V1 SOHC in this world?

Anywayz, on a few other forums, I have seen on three occasions people saying the D16z engine is very very similar to the latest D16v, and may even SHARE the same CAMSHAFT.

I don't like asking questions all the time, but does anyone have any idea? I've looked up all the specs and info I can find, but there is next to nothing about the cam in the D16v. If it is the same - EUREKAKAKA!

As you've probably guessed, there isn't really any tuning parts, info etc on for the D16v, but loads for it's bigger SISTER (fatter i mean) the D17a, which incidently shares many parts with the D16v, both 2001-on.
