Maybe we're going in the wrong direction here. I don't give a crap about 5mph at 60+. As far as I'm concerned, the wheels are just for looks and like I said, they came with the car.

The point of my post was that my RPMs shouldn't be at 5250 one day and 4000 the next day at THE SAME SPEED. I might be a noob to the b16 swap but I'm no idiot. I know that I should be in the 4000 range at 70mph - it's the inconsistancy that I can't explain.

And yeah, it's NOT the flywheel. Any other suggestions??
