Honda on the other hand still cant get their transmissions straigh. The old TL and V6 Accords are a complete fiasco and Honda still won't recall them.
what a bunch of BS...honda has been the mfgr that stands by their product more than any other car maker
selective memory serves: toyota never recalled the mass quantity of engines for the engine crud but rather blamed it on its owners not keeping strictly to the oil change schedule. it was toyota's own neglect and lack of insight when they took their bread and butter 4 cyl and v6 engines and adjusted them to run hotter to meet ULEV emissions as honda was doing. Toyota did not increase the cooling capability or redesign the head to compensate for the higher running temperature making it very bad for those who did not get oil changes often and every 3500miles...this was a recall that never happened where honda stood by its failed transmissions and replaced them and gave an extended warranty where Toyota did not...they just covered it up quietly when owners started fighting the 800 Toyota gorilla
