You think I'd be OK running the 3 main z10 instead of a 5 main? It'd really save me some scratch. I'm fairly worried about this crank flex idea now. Looking into the rod bolts, too.
Oh.. I was planning on doing this all while the block is still in the car. Do-able? I've done transmission and clutch work while in the driveway without issue, but never dropped the pan or anything like that.
Is there anything easy I can do to up viscosity for this setup? I've heard of inserting the gsr squirters, but that sounds crazy hard.
