first off this should go in either the civic forum or hybrid forum.
secondly the stock specs speak for themselves. b18c5 is gonna be more money but your definetly going to get an improvement in performance, thats why it is more. first thing u have to decide is to plan on doing just basic bolt ons or are you going to be upping your compression, doing block work, head work? if your going to go stock motor with bolt-on upgrades then buy the type-r motor...more hp, more torque, higher comp. if you plan on doin some major work well the b18c1 would be the way to go because obviously your going to be ripping it down to a bare block and starting with nothing.
