Holy shite, If you plan on going the Turbo route then you better pay someone to do it. The intake for a turbo app. needs a filter and a tube(optional). I used a 4'' filter right on the intake side of the turbo. You also can use a intake pipe so it puts it away from the turbo. If you put a pipe that goes directly into the exhaust mani. where the four cylinders meet up to a flange that bolts to the turbo then exhaust would just bypass the turbo and exit through the "ram air intake" you speak of doing. If you did that you would not get any boost. That is my asnwer for what i understand of your question.
