I've never thought anything bad about H22s. It just seems I've been misinformed about the weight difference for a very long time. A carbon fiber hood is realistically only going to save you about 15 lbs, though. But if the weight difference is really only 40 lbs the a.c. system weighs that much. Combined with the lighter bodywork you seem to be planning you're going to be in pretty good shape. Whatever swap you choose, be sure you do a LOT of research before you even start. Saves a lot of headaches.
