There are thousands of ways to modify an H-series. Although it's aftermarket support isn't quite as high as the B-series, its higher than just about any non-honda on the planet save the chevy small block.
And you have got to be joking about this 100mph bullplop... An H22A would pull on a b18c from a dead stop to the trap, assuming equal drivers. More power, more torque = a faster car... its totally brainless.
And for those worried about weight distribution (if you could still possibly be worried after my previous posts), simply putting the battery in the trunk would totally offset any F/R weight transfer from the heavier motor/tranny combo.
It took 3 Days to do the swap in my buddys car and the hardest part was just getting the motor in. and wiring. it took 10 hours to get my B18c in. we have the same car EG hatch and ive done a 3rd gear pull on him and and was right next to him the whole time and when it was time to shift. he starting pullin. Ive also raced him from a stop and ive jumped him because with a h22 all he did was spin his ass off all the way threw 3rd. like i said there not all what there cracked up to be.
