I'm new here and got here through a search.. I've been looking for information about doing a swap. I have a 99 Honda Civic EX. Stock with D16Y8 engine. I bought a B16A2 engine out of a Honda del sol. I have the ECU with it, and a mutilated engine wiring harness. I have both ends, ECU and Engine, and was wondering if it's just plug and play.. or will i have to rewire??? Should I reconnect the wires or is it possible to use the D16Y8 engne harness to connect the engine and use a OBD2b to a OBD1 ECU to get the engine to run correctly.. Is there any other rewiring i'll have to do..
