Its bad. The fluid is leaking past the seals. If you've ever seen a new master cyl, you'll know that the shaft isn't greased link that.

It will lose pressure eventually, contaminate the fluid which in turn will ruin the seals in the new slave cyl..

Hence the change both at the same time.

Don't be a cheapass when it comes to "FIXING" your car. You dump money on mods and don't bother to maintain basic repairs.

It boggles my mind why people are like this.
