I bled the lines last night with new fluid but without replacing the clutch master cylinder and everything seems fine. Granted I have not driven the car in 5 months, the pedal now hold pressure and runs just fine.

The slave cylinder went in about 2-3 pumps, will the master cylinder slowly die or is it just as sudden? There have been 2 different responses to whether the clutch master cylinder is bad or good.
