get some benadryl, caps or liquid. diphenhydramine is what u r looking for in a generic. most stores have their own allergy medicine with that ingredient. avoid taking anything with tylenol added. u may have to take more then the two 25mg pills of benadryl to get the reaction to go away. any product with 'tylenol added' u cant go over the recommended dose without risking liver problems ie failure.

u have to watch putting hydrocortizone cream on rashes. if its a small area that is ok but dont use it on a large area. the body cant absorb it consistently. plus hydrocortizone cream thins out the skin in the affected area makes it prone to infection. benadryl will make u drowsy until u get use to taking it. a tolerance builds up quickly in a couple of days.
