I'd say keep the food in your tent! Hide it under your pillow so that way the bears could hardly smell it. And if they DO happen to smell it then they'd have to wake you by moving you first, therefore waking you up and you could yell at them and scare them away.
I don't think we will be going camping anywhere where there are bears....but I'll just put all the food in my car....if they get close to it the alarm will go off and scare them away
