the h22a can be yours for about 2 grand plus change,and a few busted knuckles. i did the h23a swap on mine, it cost me about 1,100 for the engine, and then there was all the things that you'll want to change while the engine is out, such as timing belt ( change this, it will save allot of headaches later) water pump, oil pan gasket, valve cover gasket, spark plugs, wires, etc... you get the idea. even though these JDM engines are low milage , you don't know how long they have been sitting, or what might have found its way into the engine. piece of mind is priceless, and for the money you spend now, you'll be glad you did later. i wound up with about 2,200 in my swap, clutch and pressure plate included, plus i had the flywheel resurfaced. the h23a is a damn good engine, if you take care of it, and don't try to hot rod it to much, it will last a very long time.
