the corrosion is caused by leaking battery acid. if you just replaced your cables and not the battery then you will end up with the same problem every time. if the new cables are correded you need to replace them asap. corrosion is like cancer and it will work its way to the power distribution box and fuck all that shit up, then your really going to be in trouble
