Are they going to replace the axle or just the boot? On a 12 year old car that has it's CV joint exposed to the outside environment for an unknown amount of time...I'm replacing the axle. There should actually be less labor costs since it's faster to just replace the axle. You can get a re-man alxe for around $70 after you return your old one.
