It's been awhile since I messed with my headlight bulbs but if I recall correctly, there's 2 screws on each side of the bulb harness that help hold the socket into place. Try looking at it real carefully and see if you can loosen up those screws before you try twisting the bulb out of the headlight assembly. Otherwise, get someone stronger than you.
