Andrew, is this your understanding as well?
since the color is completely ripped out of these figures, the only difference will be:
red stickered white robot, gold chested white bird
blue stickered white robot, red chested white bird
red stickered black robot, gold chested black bird
blue stickered black robot, red chested black bird
I don't know if you guys care about getting just a set of white, and just a set of black. The changes between the stickers and chest plates are so minimal, that i'm not sure if it warrants another $60 to get them all.
Not to confuse you any more, but the only difference between frenzy's and rumble's stickers is one stripe. On one of the stickers, the label is entirely blue. On one of the stickers, the label is entirely blue, with 1 red stripe.
The bird set should have more of a difference ... but that plate is facing the back of the card. You wouldn't even notice unless you opened them up.
This shouldn't discourage your buying. These items are HOT. They look great, are of high quality, and have the TF community buzzing. If you don't purchase all the variants possible ... do so knowing this might be your only shot at them. No regrets 2 months down the road. No regrets 1 year down the road.
