I understand that this has been covered, but does anyone have anything helpful to say besides "do a search"? Even though there is no tranny filter on our cars, there is a microscreen which acts as a permanent filter. The only way this can be reliably cleaned without disassembling the transmission is to flush it. so, how is the microscreen kept clean? Why would this not be recommended? Are they suggesting that the only way to get the dirt out of the transmission is to rebuild it?
