The person who bought my MISB Scrapmental auction wants to back out. In his message he claims that it was a mistake by his wife. BS! He bought and paid for another Scrapmetal after buying my auction.

I filed a dispute. I told him that if he accepts the dispute right away so that I can recoup my fees, I won't ding him with an unpaid item strike but leave him negative feedback.

==========
UPDATE

4-15

The douchebag rejected the "buyer and seller have agreed not to complete the transaction" dispute issued. E-bay will not refund me any auction fees.

As a result, you will not receive a Final Value Fee credit for this transaction.

If he had accepted the dispute, I would have gotten some money back and just neg-ed him and not handed him an unpaid item strike. Now he as indicated he wants to complete the transaction (which I still don't think he will).

If he doesn't pay by Monday night, not only will he get neg-ed he will receive an unpaid item strike. I'll have to go to customer support to do this since I do not have the option to file an unpaid item dispute.

I used to restrict my auctions from "0" feedback bidders. For all my future auctions, I'll require contact before accpting any bids form bidders with a feedback less than 10.
