the fight between u and the guy, most police do not keep reports unless they see it. they will advise u to get a protective order against him. u r responsible for documenting what is happening. sort of like when neighbors fight and the police r called. they dont make reports on this. they tell them to get p. orders. some states have domestic violence laws. they apply to spouses and s.o.s past and present. your state may mandate u be arrested. that doesnt mean u did anything. if the mother and daughter are discovered to have lied they will be in legal trouble. they will be financially responsible for the time and personnel used to investigate the entire procedure. in some states the ex cannot drop charges after a cooling off period if its abuse related. even if she cooled off and changed her mind or that it didnt happen. she would have to admit it didnt happen then they would be dismissed. she will also have to have photographed evidence done in a timely matter by a licensed doctor. it would be wise to get a lawyer. he or she will answer your questions and guide you through this process. speculation just wastes time. there are things u need to be doing in a timely matter to help your side.
