yes i do live in canada. and it's got a D16Y8. No it's not a new clutch, and no it's not coming through the sound system. I don't hear it all of the time. Only when in let the clutch out when starting off. Doesn't sound too serious. I'm probably due for a new clutch soon anyway, my girlfriend taught herself how to drive stick last summer.
