I was out today pricing out a baseline Honda Civic with my grandson.
Part of the pricing included an A/C tax and the car doesnt even have a/c. When I asked the salesperson why, all he said is everyone must pay this tax whether or not they have a/c. I find this outrageous, paying for something that I dont have. I should mention that I am from Canada. Can anyone please give me the logic or reasoning behind this rather than an answer like "everyone has to do it"

that is rather shocking!!but why in hell u should get charged a tax when you buying a car without an A/C. it does not make sense whatsoever
u might want to try someplace else(dealer)!
