You can't connect the turbo to the exhaust without a downpipe, and yes, you still need some sort of fuel management. At least a bandaide like a rising rate FMU. Going turbo is not cheap.
I wouldnt boost your car untill you know what your doing. There is alot more to having a turbo set up then bolting it onto the car. Its not like a factory boosted car that was built and designed to be on boost, so there are alot of things you have to be aware of and know how to keep track of when your boosting. You should visit Homemadeturbo.com and do ALOT of research. You can throw down money and get a kit bolted on really quick, and if you dont know what your doing, have an over sized paper weight in an instent. Do the research, take your time, and do things right the first time, because do something wrong and things can go south fast
