I'm sorry I don't sit in my mom's basement all day thinking up how to build a super awesome computer and would rather buy one with a warranty on everything. This is probably the same reason I don't modify my car.

In 2 years I haven't had a single problem with it, except a malfunctioning keyboard that was fixed under warranty. My friend built a computer that performed similiar to mine (without the dual layer DVD burner) for about 2/3 the price. He's since spent about $800 replacing components that have burned out, and the thing sounds like a V2 rocket taking off. No thanks.
