We live in a free market. If the illegal immigrant "wage" was suddenly removed, yes we would pay more for our low-market goods for a while.
However, overtime, the cost of those goods would work themselves back down due to the free market competitiveness.
In the end we might be paying slightly more for our goods, but we'd be giving the money to law abiding citizens who are interested in becoming productive members of society. People interested in being American, rather than being
in America, sending money back to their home countries while they complain and try to get me to mold to their standard and culture.
Legal American immigrants built this country, and there's no reason to believe that we can't keep it going as it was. It was legal Americans that developed our industry, our computer systems, our vehicles, our produce and farm industry, and it was Americans who put us on the moon. Why is it all of a sudden an impossible thing to imagine us eating low-cost Avacados without illegals?
