Whoever sold you your tires didn't match the OEM rolling circumference.
Your speedo and odometer have been reading low as a result of the oversized tire.

The correct profile for a 16" rim is 205 / 45 R16.

As far a specific tires go, I'd take a long look at the BFGoodrich Traction Z.
I bought a set after New Year's and I'm very impressed.
