i think there is a large percentage of the nation that is against any sort of amnesty, and very much for stricter border control.

however, it's the illegals out there marching (or at least getting the press coverage), and those that feel like i do just sit at home because they're too lazy, or they just figure the next guy will argue for them.

hell, i'm just as guilty. i bitch here, but in real life, i feel too helpless to do anything. i feel like it won't make any difference. that, and that i'll be labeled as a racist, or some stupid shit.
