Dave, I feel that I stayed on topic in terms of the price of a DB8 Integra. There is no real right or wrong price on anything. It's a matter of a willing seller and a willing buyer agreeing on a price that makes them both happy. I suppose one can just go by the Kelly Bluebook values here:
www.kbb.com. Dealerships charge more because they offer more services and have greater responsibilities to their customers. Their overhead is also a lot higher. As I sold Hondas for six long months, I resent people accusing dealerships of overcharging their customers. Cars are always cheaper bought from private parties, but it's more of a hassle making appointments to look at the car and then arranging to have a mechanic look at it etc... And the car is still bought "as is". With a good dealership, you have a lot more recourse if the car has issues.
As to the merits of an automatic transmission integra, I would never own any auto tranny car.
