So, I call the dealer to order the part (Filters). First, some chick who picks up the phone tells me that there is no tranny fluid filter (external). I explain to her that there is, that this was new for 2005 on both models, and that few days earlier I actually had the part number but I lost it. She keeps arguing with me (service advisor a chick?) and finally I tell her that if she is willing to bet her job on it I will talk to the dealership manager. She puts me on hold, finally FINDS it on schematics on computer and orders me two filters (they are the same for Accord and CRV).

BUT now, they want (watch this) 136 dollars to change it. Sure, why don't I just bend over while we are at it right?!

Bottom line, can someone please post schematics of the location of this filter and how to change it? Is it screw on (like oil filter)?

Thanks all.
Tell me about the dealorship being an idiot. The salesman, where i bought my 7th gen. Honda Accord EX-L (well EX-L 1/2 because i added leather to it because the dealorship didn't have and EX-L 4cyl. at the time), didn't even know what he was selling. He said that the Honda Accord had a manual mode which I knew was a total lie because I am probably one of the biggest car freaks out there and know a lot of details feature wise lol. He put the gear shifter in D2 and then shifted it to D3 (the accord was really revving and didn't wanna cooperate but it still did) and then in D. I wouldn't doubt if the trans. is messed up because of that. I know this will sound dumb, but I bought that vehicle because it was the only EX 4cyl. in satin silver metallic with just the right features, they didn't really have a good selection which sucked.
