I just got an AEM short ram intake. I priced the cold air intake and it was a few hundred more than the short ram. I went to AEM's website (www.aempower.com) and checked out some of the dynos they did. I'm not really going to be going crazy on my car so for the couple hundred bucks, I decided to go with the short ram intake. The performance difference didn't seem to be that much more.

Sometimes a short ram intake provides close to the same or better performance compared to a cold air.
