My philosophy with the dealership is anything is up for negotiation. If the price seams un-resondalbe, ask them to justify the break down.

You could clearly agree to a lower price with the dealer before any service if you'd like. It never hurts to ask.

Do you have a local Acura or another Honda dealer, you could get a quote from them as well and see if they'll price match.

I also generally ask the tech at the service desk for coupons, most places have a 10% off coupon.

Another thing to remember is if you plan to sell the '05 in a year or 4 all those dealer serv. reciepts should help you fetch a better price on trade-in if you plan to purchase yet another Honda.
