The title got me skurred, because I eat barbecue 2-3 times a week...
...however what they're talking about isn't barbecue. BBQ is cooked for a long time over low heat. Sounds like they're referring to short-term high-temp grilling, and "blackened" style foods. And not only that, but overcooked grill meats to boot.
So Mr. Reuters news reporter, learn your meat preparation methods before writing inflammatory articles.
