So the nipple on the compressor side creates a vacuum? And basically the same vacuum you can get from the manifold?
vacuum is neg. pressure, boost is pos. pressure. So it's ideal for your wastegate to know the correct manifold pressure. What I needed to clarify from last night's post is that if you're running a mechanical bleeder valve (non-electronic boost controller) then run it to a single port, I would prefer the side port. Reason why to run the electronic type to two ports is when you turn off your boost controller, you'll still have the wastegate to pop open at the preset spring psi rating.
