Well your external gate is going to need some type of reading before it pops open. How I ran mine was mainly from the intake manifold.
Oh yea I have the Golden Eagle vacuum manifold for that. I just didn't know if I some how had to run a line from the manifold and from the boosted air from the compressor nipple. I saw some diagram before where it showed the exhaust and boost working together to open the gate. I believe it was for an internal gate though.
