yes all the idea's are very good and would work under most circumstances. unfortunatly for me i tried all these idea's prior to posting. i think what i may do is go to one of those walk-in brake shops and ask them to just unfreeze and replace the bolts.

i highly doubt they will let me get away with that. they'll tell me i need new calipers and other stuff.
