deviated septum and other unforseeable problems.. Its better just to get it checked out to make sure nothing too serious. If the docs say the want to break it so it grows straight, you can always say no. It's better to make sure you aren't going to regret it later on.

Not just anyone is a doctor, and medicine isn't something you should be guessing with.
