yeah, another thing: if you're not from around here, the weather will drive you bonkers. Its usually very nice, but it changes quickly and can be very unusual. The only month of the year with no recorded snowfall (historical, not like every year) is July. On occation it gets as warm as high 70's/low 80's in the middle of January. We've had school out for snow in September (trees all fell on power lines because they still had leaves and were too heavy), I recall one day when I was a kid I went for a hike up NCAR in my shorts and a t-shirt (about 80 out), by the time I finished my hour-long walk, it had started raining, within 2 hours the rain had turned to snow and the next day school was out. It can also snow like a foot and be bone dry the next day because its so warm and sunny. :loco:
