I've lived in Boulder, live in Superior currently (between Denver & Boulder), and I'm moving to Downtown Denver in June. I love it here. Nuggets games are awesome and pretty cheap, the Rockies suck but it's still fun to go to the games because tickets are cheap and nothing beats drinking beer in the sun, Broncos and Avalanche games are hardcore but tickets are expensive and hard to come by. The crowds are generally pretty good at all the games. Nightlife is good in both Boulder and Denver. Denver is a little more hoppin', but Boulder is more laid back which I like.

I'm actually not a skiier or snowboarder anymore, but I go up to the mountains a lot for paintball, hiking, & camping during the summer, and do some snowed-in mountain hot-tubbing during the winter. We get like 300 days of sunshine each year, so it's generally nice outside, but often quite chilly during fall/winter and even spring. It's been gorgeous the last couple of days, around 70 degrees, but I think we've probably got a couple of snowfalls left.

Denver is a very casual city. Jeans and a polo shirt are acceptable everywhere, even most of the nicer restaurants. People are real laid back and generally helpful. If your car ever gets stuck in the snow, you'll have people coming out of the woodwork to help you push it out.
