I have always bought cars brand new... never a used car. My first a 1974 Vega (good paperweight if only it had been lighter!). I've had 2 Honda Accords (1981 and 2003) and a 1991 Acura Integra. They have all been OUTSTANDING in their fit, finish, and reliability. My '81 Integra only had one problem... the alternator needed to be replaced at 105,,000 miles. Not bad! Currently I own a 2003 Accord EX 4 door (4 banger engine). Recently the lighting for the center dashboard (stereo and air conditioning control buttons) went out. Everything works fine.... just that I cannot see the time or stereo display or controls and heater/AC buttons at night. All gauges and warning lights illuminate properly. If I don't locate the problem within the next couple of days (fuse?), I'll be taking it in to have the service department troubleshoot it. BUT EVEN SO, I still love the car and am very happy with it! JD Powers NEVER contacts anyone who has driven their car for a few years to find out how the owner REALLY feels about their car.. so their awards are meaningless!! I plan on purchasing a 2006 Civic EX coupe with NAV/XM radio in June.
